Inspired Wining

Wine can inspire a listening ear, an open heart, a novel idea. A lot of ideas, actually. Somehow, as we have been grateful to experience, lives can be enriched beyond measure. The aroma of wine, the taste, the delicate arch of the glass – it all suggests the taking of time, the slowing down to appreciate and reflect. It suggests not just the finding of friendships, but the cultivating of them. This is largely how Inspired Winering came to be. During our Wednesday Night Whine gatherings, we enjoyed the moment, and each other’s company, with the same appreciation in which we savor each sip of wine.

We are the founding members of Inspired Winering – Tiffany, Lisa, Michelle, Allison, Andrea and Alexis. Get to know us, and let us know how we can inspire your community of women. Together, let’s pour another glass of possibility!

The Founding Members

Tiffany Crenshaw

One original Wednesday Night Whiners, Tiffany Crenshaw, is President/CEO of Intellect Resources , a health care IT recruiting firm, and Co-Founder of CareerMoxie, a sassy on-line career resource. She is a graduate of Peace College and UNC-Chapel Hill, Tiffany now lives in Greensboro with her husband, two children and the family golden retriever. She’s a spa and yoga junky who loves family time, hiking, entertaining and the occasional glass of red wine!

Lisa Fields

Camp Fields is always open to small children, stray dogs and wayward adults!   With this motto, is there any doubt that Camp Fields is the official headquarters of Wednesday Night Whine?  As a founding member, Lisa really enjoys the unique dynamic of this group of amazing women.   To find friends who are compassionate, fun and truly inspired to make change is refreshing.  After nearly 30 years in the broadcast industry, Lisa’s new endeavor is running  a small software company specializing in FCC compliance for broadcasters.  However, nothing compares to a new adventure with her seven year old son, Louie.

Michelle Gauffreau

Michelle is a true Renaissance Woman – she can bring home the bacon, fry it up, and then pair it with a nice Pinot.  A happily-married mother of two, she balances work and play, activity and leisure, parenting and laughing with her husband.  Michelle has a passion for the welfare of children and serves on the Board of an international adoption agency, in addition to her commitment to eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  Through Inspired Wining, Michelle has found a group of kindred “spirits” who encourage each other to make a difference in their families and their community.  A recovering paralegal and current training coordinator and customer service consultant, Michelle enjoys where she is today and is excited about where she’ll be tomorrow.

Allison Greiner

She is a mountain girl at heart and enjoys the beauty and serenity of Western North Carolina.  She is a wife, mother, teacher, volunteer and advocate.  She is passionate about her family and takes great care to preserve the memories that they create together. She has been sharing her love of the French language with high school students for 14 years.  She is active in her own community and in the Duchenne muscular dystrophy community.  She treasures her many friends who have joined her on the journey to fight for a better future for boys living with DMD, including her own son.   Inspired Wining melds all these precious aspects of her life into one and she is eager to discover what lies ahead.

Andrea Spencer

Andrea is a marketing writer, soccer coach and aspiring novelist always looking for ways to master the 21st century balancing act of being a work-from-home mother of two. That’s why she loves Inspired Wining – to spend time with friends while satisfying her creative spirit in their collaborative effort to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. A university copywriter and speechwriter and owner of Propeller Brand Messaging, she will soon complete her first work of fiction, The Promise of Water. But the real story Andrea hopes to write is the positive impact she and her fellow Inspired Winers make for their community and beyond.

Alexis Williams

She is not a good housekeeper. She’s even worse at being the tooth fairy. But she loves laughing, traveling, spending time with her extended family and being a part of a community that makes a difference. She views her role with our group as one of student, sponge, worker bee and salesperson. Alexis is officially our “go-to girl” for just about everything and she’s showing off her new skills on this website! A wife, mother of 3 adorable children, church and school volunteer, Alexis is the sharp-witted sweetheart of the group who often tells us that she receives much more than she gives.
